56-Diane Williams on Consciousness and Changing the World

My guest today is Diane Williams, founder and president of Source of Synergy Foundation, and this was a fantastic conversation. She is currently a UN representative for the Academy of Future Science, and was the founder and Chairperson of the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns at the United Nations in New York. She realized greater opportunities for synergy were needed, so in 2006 she started the foundation for that purpose. That same year she and Deepak Chopra co-founded the Source of Synergy Foundation's first initiative, the Evolutionary Leader Circle. The foundation works with many diverse organizations, including the UN. Helping to raise consciousness is part of everything that she and the foundation does. We talked in-depth about how we can change the world by raising our consciousness and by participating in communities that have that aim. She emphasized that it is necessary for everyone to understand that consciousness underlies the whole universe and is the source of everything. And she talked about 8 characteristics that help describe universal source consciousness, and anyone can experience life much more powerfully by modeling those characteristics.
