70-The Promise of Intelligent Evolution

This episode is about the vitally important role of intelligent, purposeful evolution in the new scientific understanding of the universe. This is something for all of us to understand and get excited about because it tells us that our future is good and has unlimited potential. I talk about consciousness (awareness), unity, and evolution as being fundamental to the universe but I expand on the meaning and implications. I explain that "wholeness" is the bigger meaning of unity, and it is hologramic such that information of or about the whole is present at every point or thing or being in the universe. Thus, the universe is fully interconnected non-locally. Another important implication is that the universe is fully relational, and the relationships between things and beings are important to evolution. Evolution evolves toward greater coherence between things and within systems. Coherence is very important to is-ness of beings such as ourselves and of complex systems such as among living beings and of worlds. And a big implication is that the divine (the consciousness of the universe), of which each of us is part, is itself evolving. Sentient beings participate in evolution, but it requires our awareness and caring. And that is the big problem in the world today - most humans are ignorant that they are working against evolution because of their belief in separation and lack of awareness.
