76-Consciousness and the Universe

This episode has me reading another article by Deepak Chopra - entitled "Consciousness and the Universe: Are We Separate from the World?", published on his Substack on 10/10/2026. In it he explains that "how we understand awareness shapes our sense of belonging and our relationship with life". This came about in response to neuroscientist Chris King publishing an article proposing that consciousness and the physical universe are complementary. Chopra offers a much different view that "consciousness is the ground within which people and the universe appear together". He goes on to explain how awareness is fundamental to consciousness, and he explains how "one underlying reality appears as the many forms and relationships of experience".
